Brief

The true gentleman, a man who is chivalrous, courteous and honourable; a man who reflects good character and luxury; this is the man that Alegions designed their new collection of shirts for. Alegions are pioneers of the luxury look of men’s shirt, the “incorporated-bowtie”; the “peel and reveal” cuff tips; the “flush inside-pocket”; and the ready to wear double-cuff are techniques they designed for the modern gentleman.

Alegions wanted the visual content to highlight the luxury and rich, high fashion finish of each piece in their collection. Their emblem of crossed keys stems from an ancient code of loyalty and strength and is the inspiration for the shirts and the imagery they are looking for to represent their collection.

The Process

From a brief presentation by Alegions we created a mood board that inspired the direction of the storyboard for the advertising images and videos. A script was created to aid in highlighting the sophistication of Alegions clothing. From online and our own database of models and voice over artists we were able to give Alegions a list of candidates for them to select the right men to represent the collection.

The day of the shoot was well planned out with the garments already prepared and organized to help with the flow of the day. The storyboard was handed out to each person involved to keep an efficient work flow that ensured video production costs were kept at an affordable price. Our talented image retouchers enhanced the selected images with detailed airbrushing techniques to edit out imperfections, whilst keeping a natural look. While the advertising images were edited with HDR (High Dynamic Range) a technique used to emphasize the luxury and high fashion look Alegion were after.

The Solution

The classy and sophisticated branding and advertising of Alegions captured the true gentleman that will be respected throughout history. Through ghost mannequin, model ecommerce, 360 videos, as well as advertising images and video we catered to every customer preference.

The advertising video highlighted the pieces simplicity and classy design that allows them to go from day to night. The product focused video features close-up of small intricate details and a 360 view of the model to highlight the hard work and carefully thought out designs of the shirts. The narration called attention to the detailing of the products, emphasising the extravagance of the design. We went with a voice artist with an “old fashion” accent to reinforce the idea that the shirts are fit for a king.

The creative imagery showcased the versatility of the garments in terms with each shirt being able to go from day to night wear. We brought this out with using simple, classy poses and backgrounds for the “day look” and a casino inspired, darker lighting and poses for the “night look”; as “The day begins when the night starts.”

The expectation from Alegion that all the visual content should highlight the elegant and luxurious quality of the collection was achieved through our talented team of creative directors, photographers and videographers.
